Privacy & Terms.
How your data is handled, what you are purchasing, and the scope of this work. Read this carefully before placing an order. Your purchase confirms acceptance of these terms.
Privacy Policy
True Human Being LLC is committed to handling your data with care and transparency. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who else has access, and the rights you have over your information. Read it in full before purchasing.
Who We Are
True Human Being is operated by True Human Being LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (hereafter "THB," "we," or "us"). For any privacy-related inquiry, contact . For the purposes of GDPR and similar laws, True Human Being LLC is the data controller for the information described below.

How We Use It
We use your data only for the following purposes:
- To generate and deliver your reading.
- To deliver your reading and any membership content you have purchased.
- To communicate with you about your order, your membership, customer-service issues, and material updates to our products or these terms.
- To send marketing communications (only where you have opted in or where we have a legitimate interest under applicable law). You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar law, our legal bases for processing your personal data are: performance of a contract (generating and delivering the reading or membership you purchased); your consent (for marketing communications and non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the service, and preventing fraud), where not overridden by your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
This site uses several categories of cookies and similar technologies. We want to be direct about each one.
Strictly Necessary
Required for the site to function, including session management, security, and checkout. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use the site. This data is aggregated and used to improve the experience.
Advertising and Conversion Tracking
We run advertising on Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and use Meta's advertising tools to measure ad performance and improve the relevance of ads shown to you and others. These tools share information about your interactions with our site — including pages viewed, purchases made, and a hashed version of your email — with Meta. Meta may combine this with information you have shared with them through your account, including for the purpose of personalized advertising. You can manage how Meta uses this data through your account settings on Meta's platforms, and you can adjust your cookie preferences on our site at any time. If you are in a jurisdiction that requires opt-in consent for advertising cookies, we will request that consent before any non-essential tracking technology is set on your device.
Service Providers
We share personal data with a small number of service providers acting on our behalf to operate the service, process payments, deliver your reading and account communications, and provide the advertising relationships described in the cookies section above. These providers are contractually bound to confidentiality and security obligations and process your data only as instructed by us. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data for purposes beyond those described in this policy.
International Data Transfers
If you access THB from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and equivalent safeguards under United Kingdom and Swiss law to protect your data during international transfer.
How Long We Keep It
We retain your data for the following periods, unless a longer retention is required to comply with law or resolve disputes:
- Birth data and reading content: for as long as you maintain an active account or membership, plus three years after closure, so that you can revisit prior readings and so that we can resolve any post-purchase support questions.
- Order and billing records: seven years from the date of the transaction, to satisfy United States tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or two years after your last interaction, whichever comes first.
- Technical logs: typically 30 to 90 days, depending on the provider.
You can request earlier deletion at any time by contacting . We will honor the request unless we are legally required to retain specific records.
Automated Processing
Your reading is generated through automated processing of your birth data, including profiling within the meaning of Article 4(4) of the GDPR. This processing is performed at your request as a necessary part of delivering the service you purchased. The output is intended for self-reflection and does not produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR. For questions about this processing, contact us at the email address below.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data while a question is being resolved.
- Portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw any consent you previously gave, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Complaint — lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your country if you believe your rights have been violated.
To exercise any of these rights, email with the request and enough information for us to verify your identity. We will respond within 30 days, or sooner where required by law.
California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. These include the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to delete personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies and related tools (described in the cookies section above) may be considered "sharing" under the CCPA. You have the right to opt out of this sharing at any time. To exercise this right, email with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," or use the cookie preference controls on our site.
We treat your birth data — date, time, and place of birth — as sensitive personal information given its uniqueness and immutability. You have the right to limit our use and disclosure of this sensitive personal information to that which is necessary to provide the service you have purchased. To exercise this right, email with the subject line "Limit Use of My Sensitive Personal Information." Exercising this right may affect our ability to deliver your reading or membership content.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA right. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, secure storage with our service providers, access controls, and routine review of our security posture. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves or as the law requires. For material changes, we will notify active customers by email. Continued use of THB after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
How to Contact Us
For any privacy question, request, or complaint, email . We aim to respond within five business days for general questions and within 30 days for formal data-subject requests.
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the True Human Being website, products, and services. By purchasing a reading, subscribing to a membership, or otherwise using THB, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The Parties
These Terms are an agreement between you and True Human Being LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("THB," "we," "us," or "our"). Any reference to "you" or "your" means the individual purchasing or accessing the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase any THB product or create an account. By placing an order, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are buying a reading as a gift for another adult, you confirm that you have their consent to share their birth data with us.
3. Products
THB offers the following products. Current pricing is displayed at the time of purchase on the relevant product page. Prices are in United States dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
- Orientation Reading. A one-time personalized digital document derived from your birth data, delivered by email.
- Companion Journal. Optional digital PDF add-on available at checkout once released, and sold separately thereafter.
- Personal Interface Reading. A standalone, deeper personalized reading sold without a membership.

We may add, modify, or discontinue products at any time. Changes to existing subscriptions are governed by Section 6.
4. How Your Reading Is Generated
Your reading is produced by our proprietary calculation system and original methodology. Artificial intelligence is used in the production process.
5. Scope of the Work
THB is a system of self-observation and orientation. It is not therapy, medical care, psychiatric care, psychological counseling, financial advice, legal advice, or coaching, and it is not a substitute for any of those. The readings and any related practices do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition — physical, mental, or emotional. Nothing in your reading should be interpreted as a clinical assessment.
If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, a medical condition, or any situation that requires professional care, please work with a qualified, licensed professional in your jurisdiction. THB is not designed to replace that care and should not be used in place of it.
6. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal, and Cancellation
Memberships are recurring subscriptions. By purchasing a membership, you authorize THB and its payment processor to charge your stored payment method on each renewal date until you cancel. The renewal cycle and price are disclosed at the time of purchase and in your account settings.
Auto-Renewal
Annual memberships renew automatically once every twelve months at the rate then in effect for your tier (the locked founding rate for founding members in continuous status; the standard rate for everyone else). Monthly memberships renew automatically every calendar month at the rate in effect at the start of that billing period. We will send a reminder email before each annual renewal.
How to Cancel
You can cancel a membership at any time from your account page on our website. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, you will retain access to member content through the end of that period and lose access thereafter. We do not issue pro-rata refunds for partial periods.
Founding Rate Lock-In
If you enroll in the Founding Annual membership between May 7, 2026 and August 6, 2026, the founding rate in effect at the time of your enrollment is preserved on each annual renewal, indefinitely, provided that your membership remains continuously active. If your payment fails and is not cured within 14 days, or if you cancel, your founding rate is forfeited and any future enrollment will be at the then-current standard rate. We reserve the right to discontinue the Founding Annual tier as a product category in the future, in which case we will provide affected members no fewer than 60 days' notice and a comparable alternative or a refund of any prepaid, unused portion.
Price Changes
For non-founding members, we may adjust subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the membership after the change date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
7. No Guarantees
Your reading provides observations and experiments. The value you derive depends entirely on your own engagement with the material. We make no guarantees about specific outcomes, transformations, insights, or timelines. Your direct experience is the only measure of whether this work is useful to you.
8. Refund Policy
All sales are final. Readings are personalized digital products generated specifically from your birth data and are not returnable. Subscriptions are non-refundable, including the unused portion of any billing period. The only exception is a technical delivery failure: if your reading is not delivered due to a system error on our end, or if it arrives corrupted or incomplete, contact and we will resolve the issue at our discretion through redelivery, regeneration, or in rare cases a refund. We do not offer refunds based on subjective dissatisfaction with the content.
This refund policy supplements, and does not override, any non-waivable consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your jurisdiction.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, methodology, and materials used by THB in connection with the service are the original work and proprietary property of True Human Being LLC. The reading you receive is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, publish, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from any THB content without our prior written permission. Sharing membership access credentials with any other person is a breach of these Terms.
You retain ownership of your own birth data. By submitting it to us, you grant THB a limited license to process that data solely for the purpose of generating, delivering, and supporting your reading and any related services you have purchased.
10. Member Content and Conduct
If you participate in member-only areas — the forum, the member channel, group calls, or any other community space — you agree to:
- Treat other members and THB staff with basic respect.
- Not share, publish, or repost the private contributions of other members outside the space without their consent.
- Not use the community for marketing, recruiting, harassment, hate speech, or any unlawful purpose.
- Not impersonate any other person.
Any content you post in member areas remains yours, but you grant THB a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it within the community space and, in anonymized form, in teaching examples where relevant.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to any product or community space, with or without notice, if we determine in our reasonable discretion that you have breached these Terms, abused the service or other members, or engaged in conduct that creates risk for the community. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund. We may also discontinue any product line on reasonable notice as described in Section 6.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, THB disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall True Human Being LLC, its members, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation damages for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or emotional distress, arising out of or in connection with the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid THB in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above may not apply to you in full.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless True Human Being LLC, its members, and its agents from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of any THB content, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right in connection with your use of the service.
15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, including the formation, validity, breach, or termination of these Terms, shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration agreement.
The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator. Hearings will be conducted by document submission or video conference unless the arbitrator determines an in-person hearing is required, in which case the formal seat of arbitration shall be the State of Michigan, United States. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for disputes within the scope of that court's jurisdiction. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect its intellectual property rights without first proceeding to arbitration.
Class-Action Waiver. You and THB each agree that any dispute will be brought solely in your or our individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator has no authority to consolidate claims or preside over any form of class action.
30-Day Opt-Out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms. The notice must include your name, the email address associated with your purchase, and a clear statement that you are opting out of the arbitration clause. Opting out has no effect on any other part of these Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, the state and federal courts located in the State of Michigan have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration.
17. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of nature, war, civil unrest, pandemic, labor disruption, government action, internet or infrastructure outage, or failure of a third-party service provider.
18. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms presented at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and THB and supersede any prior agreement or understanding on the same subject.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves or as required by law. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the change date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, your remedy is to cancel any active subscription before the change date.
20. How to Contact Us
For any question about these Terms, your subscription, your reading, or to exercise any right described in this document, email . We aim to respond within five business days.
By placing an order, creating an account, or otherwise using True Human Being, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and these Terms of Service, that you are at least 18 years old, and that you accept and agree to be bound by both.
